Philosophy

In my program, I use the Creative and preschool Curriculum for Family Care Centers. The child is allowed to grow at his or her own pace, and learn in ways that help him or her to have confidence in themselves as learners. Because every child is unique.

My goals for children are: Help children learn about themselves and about the world around them. Help them to feel good about themselves, and let them know that they are capable of learning. Including all the children and helping them in their individual needs.

The house is organized to be a safe place for children and, at the same time this way they can explore and learn. The toys are kept in accessible and reachable places for them. This helps them to make choices and be independent. All children have a place to store their belongings, as well as their own bed to sleep. This allows them to know that they are an important part of this Family Care Center.

For me, it is very important to work with families and maintain a positive and productive relationship, because the success and progress of the child depends on the collaboration of both. A good relationship with families helps us to help establish conditions within the home that favor study, such as health, safety, nutrition, with good communication with parents, we design positive family-program, program-family channels for good progress of children. That is why I keep this communication with the parents of the children daily. Including parents in the decisions made in my program, improves our positive team ties.

My program is open to all children with different capabilities and abilities. My program guarantees the inclusion of all children giving them the beautiful opportunity to all to learn, respect and learn about different cultures and beliefs. Parents are welcome to contribute to our program in any way they like. You are welcome to join our group when your schedule allows it.
Each child is unique and unrepeatable so are families, which is why my commitment as a professional is to train myself constantly and find the resources necessary to be at the level of what the family and the child needs.

Norma’s has been one of the best decisions I've made for our son! The amount of care and compassion the teachers have for their kids is amazing - they really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. Norma is truly committed to providing a fun and loving environment for her kids, and it’s wonderful to see your child get excited about going to school. I couldn’t ask for a better daycare, and highly recommend them.

I sent my son to Normas bilingual daycare since he was about a year and a half old, he is now about to turn five. While being there, I was amazed at the love and care that he received, and also by how much he grew (physically and emotionally) and how much he learned! It is difficult to leave your child and go back to work, but Norma makes them feel right at home. I wasn’t leaving my son with strangers, it really felt like he was with family. Norma loves my son unconditionally, and Ariel loves his teacher. Thank you!

In my opinion, at NORMA'S DAY CARE, highly recommended for the care of your child, not only in the care but also in the development of my child, because of the knowledge and updates in care and learning methods developed by The center has been very supportive to me, another very important point is that my son is always willing to attend, which lets me know that he feels safe and happy.
